The United States Soccer Coaches Association names Megan Hollar, a junior, to their 2022 Fall Soccer All-American Team! Hollar remains a standout player throughout her career making All-Conference 1st team as a freshman and sophomore and 1st team All-Ohio, OHC Player of the Year and Miami Valley District Player of the Year as a junior. Hello, this is Kraig Hissong, Superintendent. Due to dense fog in our area, WL-S will be on a 2-hour delay. This delay includes transportation for Mac and Hi point students. School will start at 9:40 for MS and HS and 9:45 for the Elementary. Again we are on a 2-hour delay for Tuesday, December 6th.

Mrs. Smith's students are learning life and job skills! They help our custodial department by laundering rags and towels, and we are so thankful! Each week, they make their rounds through the school and collect the towels staff use to keep our surfaces clean. They wash, dry, fold and return them when they are finished. We are grateful for their help, and they enjoy being able to give back!

Congratulations to our Educator of the Week, Mrs. Joan Salley!

Did your elementary age students spend Thanksgiving break trying to stack all of your cups? Well, if so, it's because they couldn't get enough of the fun with Speed Stacking! Last week, our elementary students learned the various methods of speed stacking, or cup stacking, with variety of fun games with cups! They did everything from obstacle courses, stacking, and racing to catching and arranging! Speed Stacking is a unit that P.E. teachers in more than 55,000 schools have adopted to encourage fitness, agility, concentration and quickness. Our middle school students help with the event and do a great job of teaching and keeping things on track. Everyone had a great time!

Hillside Greenhouse is generously donating 15% of their total saleS on December 3rd, to the WL-S band! We are so thankful for their partnership and hope you will stop in, shop local, and support their fundraiser!
