👥📚 Mrs. Unger’s classes kicked off the school year with some fun team-building activities!
✅ In the first challenge, students worked together to find numbers from 1–100 before the one-minute timer ran out—quickly realizing there was a pattern that could help them go faster.
🧩 In the second activity, blindfolded teammates had to rely on clear and specific directions from their classmates to put together a 24-piece puzzle.
There was plenty of laughing, thinking, and teamwork happening—such a great way to start the year! 🐯

The halls of WL-S were alive with excitement today as we welcomed our Tigers back for the first day of school!
Our youngest students set out on hall tours that felt like a treasure hunt, sparking memories of familiar places or creating brand new ones as they began their journey. Older elementary students settled right back into their routines, filling classrooms with confidence and comfort, already at home.
One of the most touching moments came when Elementary Principal, Mr. Hollar, shared his personal story of sending his own daughter off to kindergarten. His words mirrored what so many parents felt today — that mix of pride, joy, and a tug at the heart as their little Tigers took big steps, some for the very first time and others for the very last.
Meanwhile, our high school students were all smiles, ready for pictures and thrilled to be reunited with friends, their energy lighting up the campus.
The first day of school always marks the end of summer and reminds us of another milestone reached — another grade older. But it also marks a beautiful beginning: new achievements, new friendships, fresh independence, courage, and Tiger pride.
We can’t wait to watch it all unfold this year at WL-S.
