Our third graders wrapped up their fairytale unit creating a group project describing their own favorite tales! Students were grouped together with others who enjoyed the same popular stories that we all know and love. They read variations of those tales that have evolved over time. Some of those variations included a different outcome or storyline all together but the theme, or general idea, was still present. They used poster board to present and summarize similarities and differences, illustrate the characters from the variations and find their own creative ways to tell the story. Great job, third grade! They were creative and fantastic!

Congratulations to four awesome seniors! Today we recognize Ryan Motzko, Olivia Muirhead, Olivia Neer and Rose Neer!

Our fourth grade ELA teachers set up a very cool and fun way to review all that they have learned and are still learning this year! Their classrooms became operating rooms and students became surgeons. They studied case files of “patients” and answered questions about them, looked over x-rays and other lab work to make predictions and interferences. What a neat way to be hands on with learning!
