🇺🇸 A schedule change didn’t stop our JV softball team from joining in on the Military Appreciation celebrations! They honored their coach and veteran, Mike Carter, during last night’s game and topped it off with a big win over Lehman Catholic. Special thanks to Lacey Campbell for capturing the moment! 🥎🇺🇸

Today was packed with unforgettable moments! The morning started early with optional activities like a run through Central Park or catching live tapings of morning shows like Today or Good Morning America. From there, students made their way to the Top of the Rock Observation Deck, where they took in sweeping views of the NYC skyline. Afterward, the group explored Chinatown and Little Italy for a taste of local culture and lunch on their own. The afternoon included a walk across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge and visits to the Financial District and Battery Park. The day closed on a powerful note at the 9/11 Museum and Memorial—a moving experience that left a lasting impact on everyone. 🗽Seniors are having a blast in NYC! After a good night’s rest on the bus (maybe🧡😂) and a quick breakfast this morning, our students hit the ground running in Manhattan! They kicked off the day exploring Grand Central Station before heading to Chelsea Market and taking in the sights along the High Line. They even squeezed in a little shopping at Macy’s and Herald Square! This afternoon, they checked into the hotel for a quick refresh before heading back out for a delicious group dinner at Tony DiNapoli’s near Times Square—compliments of WL-S! The night wraps up with a magical performance of WICKED on Broadway. It’s been a full and exciting day, and we know they’ll sleep well tonight. Stay tuned for more updates!

🇺🇸 Military Appreciation Night at WL-S 🇺🇸 Tonight, West Liberty-Salem High School proudly hosted Military Appreciation Night during our softball and baseball games. A special thank you to ColePak for sponsoring the event and helping us honor the brave men and women who serve. We were honored to welcome the 178th Wing Honor Guard from Springfield, Ohio, who represent the Air Force, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard across the state. 🎨 Pages Students Explore Art & Creativity at Ohio State University ✨ Our Pages students recently had the opportunity to visit the Ohio State University's Wexner Center for the Arts to experience Nancy Holt's thought-provoking exhibit, Power Systems. This exhibition offers an extensive presentation of Holt's investigations into the systems that power our world, featuring interactive, site-responsive sculptural installations that expose the basic technological systems found in the built environment. Following the gallery tour, students engaged in a creative writing workshop led by OSU MFA Creative Writing student Evann Zuckerman.
