The West Liberty-Salem Big Orange Cross Country teams finished their seasons at the Middle School and Elementary State Cross Country Championships held at Dublin Jerome High School.
The girls were first out of 12 teams in the division 3 race.
Addison McAuley was the individual champion in a time of 11:42. Her time was the fastest female in all divisions winning her the distinction of "Ohio's Fastest Middle School Girl."

Meet Flash! Flash is a therapy dog owned by Abigail Stapleton. Mrs. Stapleton and Flash will volunteer their time helping with one on one reading and other activities in the elementary class rooms. Today they helped kindergarten students with individual reading time. Look how excited he is to join our team!

Mary Rutan brought their traveling health and wellness program, Power Up for Fitness, to West Libery-Salem elementary this week! Nurses worked with fourth graders showing them how to keep their lungs, heart and bodies healthy. Students received a bag of free information, frisbee, jump rope and water bottle at the end of the program!
