Saturday-9th grade boys play Greeneview at Catholic Central at 3:00- OHC finals
High School girls and boys bowling compete in their OHC tournament Saturday at 12:00 at Beaver Vu Lanes.
Admission to all of these is $7.00
Tuesday the varsity boys basketball play Brookeville at Northmont HS at 5:30
Tuesday the varsity girls basketball play Miami East at Northridge HS at 7:30

Attention MS/HS Students and Families,
The WL-S High School Counseling Dept will be hosting a College Fair and CCP Informational Night on Feb 22 from 5:00-7:30p.
Both 2 year and 4 year colleges will be on hand to highlight their campus and programs during the college fair from 5:00-6:00 PM.
Following the college fair, we will host the CCP Informational Meeting for students and families from 6:00-7:30p. The CCP program is open to students in grades 7-12 each school year and attending the informational meeting is a requirement for participation. See the attached flyer for more information and details.


The middle school and high school girls and boys track and field parents meeting will be held Thursday, February 24th at 6:00 p.m. in the elementary cafeteria.
If you are unable to attend, please contact your athlete's head coach to receive the meeting information.

High School baseball registration is now open. Please be sure to register on the HS baseball team website https://wlsbaseball.weebly.com/ as soon as possible. There, you will also be provided with a link to sign up for Remind. Both parents and athletes should register for Remind to receive communication from Coach Sean Stormes.


The West Liberty Ball Association will close youth baseball registration on 2/12. Spring is around the corner!


Mrs. Harman's biology students learned about the health benefits of pickled foods and the role of good bacteria in our bodies. During their study students followed a recipe and made their own pickles. They really enjoyed them (well, most did)!

Isaac Brown signed his letter of intent to play soccer for Capital University this fall on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Isaac was joined by High Point Soccer Club Coach Chad Studebaker, WLS Soccer Coach Tim Wolfe, and his family Avery, Rylie, Sarah and Matt Brown. Isaac plans to major in criminology and minor in International Studies.



The West Liberty-Salem Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet is on as scheduled for Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Urbana Christian Conference Center. Social hour begins at 5:30, dinner at 6:30 and the ceremony at 7:30.

All afternoon activities including the boys basketball game are cancelled for this evening. The game is tentatively rescheduled for tomorrow at 1 PM. Stay safe!

Mrs. Harman & Mrs. Fullenkamp's 8th grade science classes built edible DNA models this week! Students focused on the structure of DNA in this lab and then got to eat them too!




All evening activities are cancelled today. The Varsity girls basketball game scheduled for tonight has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 9th. JV will start at 6:00.
The HS girls game schedule for Saturday has been rescheduled to Monday, February 7th. Freshmen will begin at 5 followed by JV around 6:30 and Varsity immediately following. (This is unrelated to weather.)
