The West Liberty-Salem Girls Track and Field team will sponsor a Half Court Shot competition during halftime of the boys varsity basketball games. Anyone wanting to participate may buy a Single ticket for $5 or five tickets for $20. A ticket will be drawn at the end of the 1st quarter and the winning ticket holder will have chance to win half of what's in this week's pot if he/she makes the shot. If no one makes the shot the money will carry on to the next week. This week’s pot will begin with $500, so if someone makes the shot this week, he/she is already guaranteed to win $250! The winner must be present and shoot the half court shot to win. Other rules also apply. Coach Vogel and other Tiger Track and Field team members will be selling tickets during the JV game and between JV/Varsity games. All proceeds benefit the WL-S Tiger Track and Field program.
