ATTENTION SENIORS AND PARENTS: Scholarship season is now in full swing for the class of 2020! We have some big shoes to fill from the class of 2019! Last year’s graduating class won $1,416,636 in scholarships! The average award per student was $19,675. 31 of the graduating 72 students in the class were awarded a scholarship, that’s 43% of the class applying and winning scholarships! Seniors, be sure to check Schoology for important scholarship announcements and updates. Pay special attention to due dates. Be scholarship ready by collecting your letters of recommendations from teachers. Local scholarships are coming due in the month of January, so we wanted to remind our seniors and families of the money that potentially awaits them. See the list below for scholarships now available and their due dates.

Do you ever wonder what our elementary students do when it’s too cold for outside recess? When temps are in the lower/mid 20’s, students have recess in the cafeteria! There are a number of games to choose from, coloring pages, and blocks to build. Yesterday morning, Mrs. Perdue led a game of Simon Says with our first graders during first recess when it was still just a little too chilly for the little ones!
