Almost 100 elementary students were up early on Saturday morning to attend the first Little Tiger Dribblers practice! They will perform at half-time of the boys basketball JV and Varisty games on 12/21 and the girls JV and Varity games on 1/9! More information to follow!

Our State Champion Girls Track team was recognized this evening at our home basketball game! Congratulations to all of our girls. Thank you to the Athletic Association for the purchasing of Championship rings for all girls who.participated in the state meet. The WL-S state championship track and field team will be honored at this Friday’s (12/6) boys basketball game. Team members and their parents will get into the game for free. Please sign in at the admission table. The ceremony will take place between the JV and Varsity games, approximately around 7:15. Team members are to report to the cafetorium at 6:50 pm.

WLS College Credit Plus Parent Meeting is Thursday, Dec. 5th at 6:00pm in the high school cafetorium. This is required for students (&parents) wanting to participate in CCP during 20-21 school year. CCP is a program for students to earn college credit while still in JH or HS.

College Credit Plus (CCP) MS/HS Parent Meeting Thursday December 5, 6:00p in the HS Cafeteria This meeting is mandatory for anyone new to CCP for the 2020-2021 school year and is highly recommended for those returning to CCP for the 2020-2021 school year. CCP options are available for students in grades 7-12 for the 2020-2021 school year. Learn about CCP options at WL-S and with local colleges. Understand both benefits and risks with the program. Several local colleges will be on hand to discuss their CCP programs.

Attention! There are some changes to basketball schedules! High School girls basketball- This Thursday, (12/5) WLS plays at Triad, Triad does not have a JV team, varsity contest will start at 6:00. This Saturday (12/7) vs Northeastern. JV will start at 12:00 with the varsity to follow. High School boys basketball- Friday, Dec 13th @ West Jeff has been cancelled and rescheduled for Monday, Dec 30th – freshman will start at 5:00.
