After a busy week of state testing, our 7th grade math students took some time to unwind and get creative, all while reviewing key geometry concepts!
Students designed their own iPhone-style backgrounds and even sketched out their dream summer vacation plans (yes… we saw a few beaches! 🏖️), all while incorporating the geometry skills they’ve been learning throughout the year.
It was a fun and engaging way to decompress, reinforce learning, and get ready for their upcoming end-of-year capstone project!

We are excited to share that Kayla Peterson has been selected as the next Head Volleyball Coach for the Tigers, pending board approval.
A proud WL-S alum and former collegiate standout, Coach Peterson brings a strong background in both playing and coaching. She has served in coaching roles at Johnathan Alder High School and previously at West Liberty-Salem, while also competing as a collegiate athlete and team captain. Her experience developing athletes, building team culture, and emphasizing fundamentals, leadership, and accountability will be a tremendous asset to our program.
