COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS

Families MUST review the power point if they were unable to attend the meeting. The "Declaration of Intent" and "Counseling Session for CCP Participation" forms are required on file by April 1 for any and all students interested in participating in the CCP program for the next school year. The Declaration of Intent is non-binding, in that students are not required to participate if they turn it in-but failure to turn in it does result in ineligibility for the next school year.

FOR STUDENTS INTERESTED IN TAKING CCP COURSES

1) Contact the CCP Administrator at the University or College of your choice.

2) Students may take courses of their choice. If you would like to take a course that will fulfill a core/graduation requirement, please see the high school course catalog available to review content standards, available at the HS Counseling Office Home Page. Students may also choose to take college level electives. All CCP courses will be added to a students course history and be included in graduation credit and GPA totals/calculations.

3) All text books are purchased by the West Liberty-Salem School District, and will need to be returned to WL-S upon completion of the course. Failure to do so may result in being charged the original cost to the district for the text books.

4) Questions about the program may be directed to Mrs. Molly Smith, High School Counselor at mosmith@wlstigers.org.
