Our Environmental Science students are offering animal tours to our elementary students for the remainder of the year! This very special ‘ticketed event’ allows our young students to visit with HS students and the animals that have been care for in the Science Wing all year! Students received a ticket that admitted them to the different stations of animals, insects, green house and science lounge areas. There, they visited trout, oscar, a red eared slider turtle, bunnies, guinea pigs, hissing cockroaches and a collection of plants and animal skulls. Included in their student guided tour was the chance to pet most or all of the animals! The bunnies were most popular following by the noisy cockroaches! It was a creative and fun way for our older students to present what they’ve learned while caring for a variety of species.
