The West Liberty-Salem girls cross country team won its fourth consecutive DIII Southwest Regional title Saturday at Troy Stadium to qualify for next week's state meet.
This will be the fifth consecutive trip to state for the Big Orange, and tenth overall.

Freshman Ashley Yoder led the Big Orange with her first ever career win in 19:09.  Megan Adams placed 3rd 19:21, Katelyn Stapleton 5th 19:34, Madison Bahan 6th 19:38, Addison McAuley 14th 20:29, Claire Longshore 25th 21:06, and Taylor Kennedy 32nd 21:23.  

This year's OHSAA State Cross Country meet will be held at the Fortress in Obetz. WLS will compete at 10:00 a.m.
