The West Liberty-Salem High School Cheer Team is proud to introduce a new community outreach project: The Tiger Table — a small, local food cabinet created to help minimize hunger and maximize care right here in Tiger Nation.
The idea is simple:
Take what you need. Leave what you can. Because everyone deserves a seat at the table.
With the help of the West Liberty Business Association, the Tiger Table will be in the future Friendship Alley, next to the branch library in the Village, stocked with non-perishable food, hygiene items, and other daily essentials for any community member in need.
This project was inspired by our cheerleaders’ belief that school spirit extends far beyond the sidelines — it’s about lifting others, spreading kindness, and standing strong together. 💫
We invite our entire Tiger family — students, staff, parents, alumni, and local businesses — to help us keep the shelves full and the hearts of our community even fuller. 🧺
✨ How You Can Help
Drop off shelf-stable items or hygiene products.
Share this post to spread awareness.
Encourage friends and family to give or take without hesitation — no questions asked, just kindness shared.
Students can bring in non-perishable food items, baby items, and hygiene products to any of the donation bins at the MS and HS entrances or in Central Office.
Together, we’ll make sure no Tiger sits alone and no plate goes empty.
Because here at West Liberty-Salem, there’s always a seat at the Tiger Table. 🐅💛🖤
