West Liberty, OH — September 26, 2025 — West Liberty-Salem Local Schools is proud to announce the 2025 Homecoming Royalty. Ava Astorino was crowned Homecoming Queen and Jake Lauck was crowned Homecoming King during a special ceremony held Friday evening before the Tigers’ Varsity Football game against Fairbanks.
Ava and Jake represent the very best of Tiger Pride—leadership, school spirit, and a true love for the WL-S community. Their selection highlights their outstanding contributions both in and out of the classroom.
Athletic Director Morgan Sullivan added, “This year’s Homecoming was a perfect example of what makes Tiger athletics and community so special. From the crowning to the energy in the stands, and capping it off with a big 42–0 win over Fairbanks, it was truly a night to remember.”
The evening was filled with excitement and tradition, from the crowning of the Queen and King to a spectacular show of school spirit at Tiger Stadium. The celebration concluded with the Tigers’ decisive victory, making Homecoming 2025 a memorable event for students, staff, alumni, and the entire community.
