Students in Mrs. Smith’s MRDD class and Mrs. Hall’s Family and Consumer Science Class joined forces to pull off the second annual Inclusion Café! Students took the lead on this project by creating invitations and menus, taking preorders, preparing and serving food, making deliveries, and collecting money. This event is a wonderful real-life experience for both classes each year. All profits made from this year’s café were donated to Avianna Grantham’s funeral expenses. Avianna was a student in Mrs. Smith’s class, and students felt humbled to be able to contribute to their friend.
