It’s ‘Bus Drills’ week at WL-S, and our transportation department has been hard at work teaching bus riders different evacuation methods and safety procedures. Evacuation methods include front, rear and split evacuations. They also introduced general bussing guidelines, rules, and ways to stay safe when crossing in front of the bus. Our newest riders will know exactly what to do in case of an emergency, and our more veteran riders are learning how to help our bus drivers keep riders calm and moving quickly! Our transportation department always goes above and beyond to keep our students safe and we especially appreciate all they are doing this week to prepare for the year ahead.
