Winter Season Athletic Requirements

It is the goal of the West Liberty-Salem Administration, Coaches, and Athletes to have a complete winter sports season. Your help in adhering to the below requests and procedures will hopefully help fulfill our goal.

1.Admission doors will open 30 minutes prior to the event. No RE-ENTRY permitted!!

2.Spectators should conduct a self-assessment prior to attending. If you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID19, PLEASE STAY HOME!!

3.Spectators are required to properly wear a facial covering that properly covers the mouth and nose, throughout the entire building unless actively eating or drinking.

4.Spectators should sit with their family as a group with no more than 4 people from the same household.

5.Spectators must sit in the seats marked with a yellow “X” on the seat. If there is not a “X” on the seat, DO NOT SIT THERE.

6.Spectators should use proper hygiene by washing hands or using sanitizer frequently.

7.All competitions will be held in the main gymnasium.

8.Upon completion of the event, please exit the gymnasium immediately and do not congregate in groups.

9.Live streaming off of our schools’ website will be available for all home High School events and some middle school events.

Ticket Policy

All tickets will be sold as pre-sale for all events held at WL-S. Tickets are $7.00 for all High School entry and $5.00 for all Middle School entry. Tickets purchased are non-refundable. Tickets can be purchased: 1.) 8:00-12:00 M-W-F at door #2 at the school. 2.) At the Tuesday night, Dec. 1 Boys’ Basketball game. 3.) On 12/17 & 12/18 at the main gym entry from 6:00-9:00 PM. More evening opportunities will be posted as the season progresses.

Each week, a publication will be posted for the upcoming week explaining details for away contests. Watch the website or the WL-S Facebook page for these publications.

  • *The following details how many tickets each sport athlete is entitled to:
  • Middle School Girls’ Basketball – 3 per athlete
  • Middle School Boys’ Basketball/cheerleading – 2 per athlete
  • High School Girls’ Basketball – 5 per athlete
  • High School Boys’ Basketball/cheerleading – 3 per athlete
  • High School wrestling – 10 per athlete
  • Middle School wrestling – 15 per athlete
  • Bowling – 2 per athlete

Prior to each Varsity Girls’/Boys’ home basketball game, pre-sale tickets will be on sale for the first 20 High School students for $5.00 each at the AD office until 1:00 the day of each game. These will be mezzanine seats.
