West Liberty-Salem students in Madame Shank’s French III class recently attended French Immersion Day at Wright State University. This is the 17th year for the recruitment and service event during National French week! Around 250 top french students are invited to campus for a day of academic engagement where students learn and speak in French all day! This year’s theme was ‘Sports and Health’ with a focus on healthy eating. Students participated in a number of language activities, games, ate a French inspired lunch, and breakout sessions including a tasting session specifically looking at junk food ingredients and healthy choices in french, of course!
