Five West Liberty Salem Track and Field athletes were recently named to the Ohio Association of Track and Cross Country Coaches Academic All-Ohio team. To be eligible, athletes must be at least a sophomore, have a minimum 3.5 grade point average and qualify for the state track and field meet. The WLS Academic All-Ohio recipients are seniors Megan Etgen, Shawnda Henault, Jasmine Smith, Meghan Vogel and sophomore Abigail Rabenstein.

Henault and Smith have received Academic All-Ohio five times in their careers, three times in cross country and two times in track and field. Vogel has received the honor six times in her career, three in cross country and three in track and field.
