The state of Ohio has joined the PARCC consortium. PARCC is working to develop the English Language Arts and Mathematics assessments that are anticipated in 2014 - 2015.
Ohio has also stated that they are working to develop Science and Social Studies assessments that will be similar to the PARCC assessments. These assessments are expected to be computer based.
