My daily schedule is constantly changing, except for my classroom visits. I am in all first, second, and third grade classrooms during the first and third grading period. I am in first grade classes on Monday, second grade on Wednesdays, and third grade on Fridays. Each classroom session last from 20 to 30 minutes.
I am in the fourth and fifth grade classrooms during the second and fourth grading periods. Again, each classroom session lasts from 20 to 30 minutes weekly.
There is a common theme or topic for each grading period and for each grade level. The topics are as follows:
Grade 1: Self Awareness and Friendship making skills
Grade 2: Reduction of Bias in friends and peers and Families unit
Grade 3: Emotions and Feelings and Conflict Resolution
Grade 4: Bullying Unit and Hobbies and Careers
Grade 5: Bullying Unit (part 2) and Goal Setting
